This Certina has lived a rough life. At some point in time, moisture has penetrated the case, leading to a super heavy patina on the dial. You'll never find any dial exactly like this. The harsh Nordic conditions have, over the years, shaped this watch to what it is today.
Because of the condition of the dial, I take all precautions before putting this one up for sale. That's why I'm sending it to a watchmaker for a full service of the movement. That way, you'll get the chance to own a fantastic vintage watch from the 288 series, with the comfort of knowing that it runs exactly the way it did when it left the factory in Switzerland.
